  • Sandrine Besnard-Corblet

    CHIEF LEGAL OFFICER

    Ms. Besnard-Corblet joined Sibelco in 2021 as Chief Legal Officer and is a member of the Executive Committee. Ms. Sandrine started her career in private practice at the French law firm Gide, Loyrette & Nouel and decided, after a few years, to move to an in-house position to be part of the business decision-making process. She has held various attorney positions at Levi Strauss & Co., from European and Global Intellectual Property Counsel to Emerging Markets Associate GC, and finally EMEA General Counsel as of 2004.

  • Steve North

    FAMILY PHYSICIAN

    Dr. Steve North is a rural family physician specializing in addiction and adolescent medicine at Mountain Community Health Partnership in Bakersville, NC. From 2019 to 2024, he was Vice President of Medical Strategy for Eleanor Health, an outpatient substance use disorder program focused on harm reduction and virtual care. He founded and directs Health-e-Schools, a telemedicine program that has grown from three schools in 2011 to serving over 72,000 students across 130 schools in North Carolina. His work in telemedicine earned the American Telemedicine Association’s President’s Award for Health, Quality, and Innovation in 2014.

    Dr. North previously served as Medical Director for Mission Virtual Care, integrating virtual health services into Mission Health, North Carolina’s sixth-largest health system. A leader in telehealth research, he has contributed to national guidelines and serves on the boards of Advocates for Youth, Impact Health, and The Toe River Health District. He earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and his medical doctorate from the University of North Carolina, completing his Family Medicine Residency, Adolescent Medicine Fellowship, and MPH at the University of Rochester.

  • Carrie Reeder

    COMMUNITY RELATIONS AND CSR LEADER

    Carrie Reeder is a seasoned community relations consultant and an active leader in corporate social responsibility (CSR). With over 15 years of experience, she has developed and led CSR and stakeholder engagement strategies that drive measurable impact in communities across the U.S. and internationally. Her expertise lies in fostering meaningful partnerships between corporations and communities, ensuring sustainable and positive change.

    Most recently, Carrie served as Vice President of Corporate Social Responsibility and Community Affairs at Albemarle Corporation, where she led the company’s global community engagement strategy and helped shape its corporate identity within the communities it serves. In this role, she also served as President of the Albemarle Foundation, overseeing philanthropic initiatives. Prior to Albemarle, she led environmental, social, and governance (ESG) initiatives at U.S. Bank and directed global corporate social responsibility at Collins Aerospace. She also spent nearly a decade at PwC, managing marketing, communications, and community engagement across the Southeast region.

    Carrie holds a Bachelor of Arts in Communications from DePauw University in Greencastle, Indiana. She is based in Charlotte, North Carolina, where she lives with her husband and daughter.

  • Brittni Nereim

    PRESIDENT

    Brittni Nereim joined Sibelco in 2024 as the Director of Sustainability for the Americas businesses and is the President of the Sibelco Spruce Pine Foundation. Mrs. Nereim has nearly a twenty year career in corporate sustainability strategy and corporate citizenship. She held various global positions in the consumer goods and retail industries, where she was asked to be the Sr. Director of Sustainability for Walmart Inc globally and, then, the Vice President of Sustainability for Ahold Delhaize USA. Mrs. Nereim built an impactful career advising Fortune 100 companies on environmental impact, social and community initiatives, and governance, positioning companies to make a lasting positive impact for various stakeholder groups.

    Mrs. Nereim built a career around her personal passions after completing her studies. She holds an MBA and MS, Sustainability from the W.P. Carey School of Business and the School of Sustainability, at Arizona State University. Mrs. Nereim’s work has taken her around the world to serve the needs of diverse communities. Mrs. Nereim and her husband have four children and reside in the Charlotte, NC area.

  • Francisco San Martin

    TREASURER & SECRETARY

    Francisco San Martin joined Sibelco in March 2023 as VP Transformation NAM, and subsequently as VP Finance Americas. He holds Civil and Industrial Engineering degrees from the Universidad De Chile, and an MBA from Northwestern University. He resides with his family in Charlotte, NC.
